Dal Siciliano is a small, intimate Sicilian restaurant in Big Creek, Bocas del Toro, with only around twenty seats. It is one of the highest-rated restaurants in Bocas del Toro on Google, and many travelers tell us it was the best Italian meal of their trip.
Everything is made fresh to order, so plan to relax and enjoy the evening. Guests rave about the garlicky bruschetta on crunchy bread, the cheesy potato croquettes and the octopus with mashed potatoes. The gnocchi with shrimp, the snapper fillet and pasta alla Norma are favorites for mains, and the tiramisu is the way to finish. Ask about the Sicilian wines, including a crisp Grillo white.
Dal Siciliano is open Thurs to Tues 6pm-9:30pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Because the dining room is so small, it is a good idea to arrive early or reserve ahead, especially for groups.
From Saigon Bay it is a short taxi or bike ride up the road toward Big Creek, close to the beaches near Saigon Bay. For another Italian night, try Trattoria Pane e Vino, or see our Bocas del Toro travel guide for more dinner ideas.
