Boya de Vida Floating Bar is a wooden bar floating in the bay just off Bocas Town, Bocas del Toro, and one of the most unique places to spend an afternoon in the islands. You reach it by water taxi and are surrounded by clear Caribbean water and wide views of the bay.
It is a bar first, with drinks and small snacks at fair prices rather than full meals. Guests love jumping into the water from the upper deck, swimming around the bar and staying to watch the sunset. The family-run atmosphere is laid-back, and the hosts are known for their friendly welcome and great music. It makes a fun break between meals at the Bocas del Toro restaurants in town.
Boya de Vida is open every day from 12pm to 7pm. Bring your swimsuit, a towel and sunscreen so you can make the most of the water.
From Saigon Bay, head into town and take a short water taxi from the docks. See our Discover Bocas del Toro page for more ways to enjoy the water.
