Paunch Beach Club, listed on Google as La Coralina Beach Club, is a laid-back beach bar and restaurant at Playa Paunch on Isla Colón, Bocas del Toro. Paunch is one of the island’s best-known surf breaks, and this is where surfers and beachgoers gather before and after a session.
There is safe storage for surfboards and bikes, plenty of seating from lounge areas on the sand to a covered dining room with ocean views, and a menu of nicely plated dishes. Post-surf cocktails, cold beers and hot coffees keep everyone happy, and live music adds to the vibe on some days. When the sea is calm, the reef at Paunch is also good for snorkeling. It is one of the most relaxed beach restaurants in Bocas del Toro.
Paunch Beach Club is open every day from 9am to 9pm.
