La Rosa Beach Club is a beach club and restaurant at Red Frog Beach on Isla Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro. With soft sand, turquoise water and the jungle right behind, the view from the tables looks like something out of a picture book.
Many visitors buy a day pass and spend the whole day here, moving between the beach, the pool and the restaurant. Staff are welcoming and the grounds are clean and well kept, and you may even spot a sloth in the trees nearby. On the menu, guests recommend the Angus cheeseburger, the salmon, the garlic shrimp and the seafood pasta, with fresh passion fruit juice or a piña colada to drink. Breakfast is served too, with a short but varied selection.
La Rosa Beach Club is open every day from 8am to 9pm, so it works for a full day out or a late lunch after a swim.
